Director of Trading

Our client is one of the worlds largest trading companies in bulk goods, fuels and other industry related materials. For strategic reasons they were seeking a Senior Director to head up the Americas, taking full responsibility for expanding and increasing the trading activities within the region. Our initial focus was to establish a deep and thorough understanding of the role and key requirements over and above the job specification. From this initial meeting we were then able to build our headhunt list of suitable candidates from both target organizations and through our established network in the commodities sector. Once we had refined our long list of candidates we made our approaches and drew up a shortlist of 8 individuals resulting in a very successful hire.
