Head of Surveillance

Having already successfully completed a number of senior compliance mandates for our client, we were briefed on a Head of Surveillance role. This newly created role was responsible for leading and heading up their market conduct surveillance and monitoring framework. Forming part of the group compliance team we were tasked to source an individual with ten plus years of experience within compliance monitoring and surveillance systems, ideally with a strong commodity background. Critical for this role was an excellent understanding of the regulatory landscape in relation to a trading business and direct experience with EMIR, Dodd-Frank and MAR. Using our reach and considerable network we were able to successfully identify, source and on-board the right candidate for the role.
