Investment Banking Audit Manager

We were representing a major global investment banking group who were headquartered in Australia and were seeking a Senior Audit Manager for their risk management team.

Based in Sydney, the individual would have responsibility across a number of functional areas including Capital Markets, Corporate Advisory, Securities, Treasury and Funds. As part of this dynamic team, they would assess the effectiveness of risk management across existing and new business lines providing assessments of joint ventures, significant contracts and policies, critical projects and system developments.

They would be working closely with the broader risk management team and executives across the bank contributing to the continual improvements of the groups risk management framework. Some international travel would be required.

The ideal candidate would be ACA or CA qualified with approx. 6-10 years relevant experience either working within investment banking or as a Manager / Senior Manager within a professional services firm.

We sourced this role in approx 4 weeks and the successful candidate relocated from the UK back to Australia 8 weeks later.
