Our client is a member of the Big 4 and was the principal “Go To” firm in most of the emerging market territories it operated in. Due to consistent growth, recruitment and a very high graduate intake they were looking to appoint Senior Partners in a number of their international territories.
As a Director or Partner they would have responsibility for the overall engagement management of some of the firm’s most significant and technically challenging clients. These positions would encompass significant client management and board exposure and require strong interpersonal skills and the drive and desire to deliver a top quality service to clients. Of equal importance was the strategic vision for the long-term growth and development of the team, division and firm.
Suitable candidates needed to show significant assurance experience within a specialised sector (Consumer Goods, Technology, Insurance or Investments & Banking), ideally from within established markets. The roles covered Audit, Business Risk, Internal Audit and Advisory Services. At the time each of these service lines had a significant pipeline of work throughout China, Russia, India and Eastern Europe.
Through a combination of direct search and advertising both online and in various key accountancy journals, over the course of 6 months we were able to successfully draw up a significant short-list of international candidates for various locations within their global network.
